Kitchen (Room measurements: 13'6 X 7'9): When you arrive, there will be a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, washing up liquid (dishwashing detergent), laundry detergent and wood for the woodstove to get you started. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, washing machine, toaster, toaster oven, bread maker, blender, slow-cooker, electric frying pan, dishes, plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, all other utensils, cookware, bakeware,  pots, pans, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle, tea pot, ice bucket, cutting boards, sharp knives,  storage containers, dish cloths, dish towels, hand towels, oven mitts, wine rack, broom, dust pan and brush, mop, cleaning supplies, salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls, creamers, corkscrew, ceiling fan, plastic plates, cups and bowls for outdoor/BBQ use, vinyl flooring. 

Dining room/Study (Room measurements: 21' x 7'4): Dining room - The dining room has a wall of windows overlooking the Northumberland Strait for you to gaze over as you dine. It is equipped with a table and six chairs (the table extends to seat six people), sideboard, placemats, napkins, napkin holders, table cloths, candles, candle holders, recycling centre, laminate wood flooring and an area rug. Study - The study is equipped with a desk/workstation, power points, high speed internet, the information/storage cupboard, laminate wood flooring with area rug.

Master bedroom (Room measurements: 10' x 11'2): The master bedroom has sliding patio doors leading out on to the screened-in sunroom. Wake up in the morning, tumble out of bed and into the sunroom, and experience a symphony of birdsong to start your day.  It has a queen-sized bed, bedside cabinet, all sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow covers, pillowcases, two dressers, closet, hangers, ceiling fan, laminate wood flooring with area rug by each side of the bed, digital alarm clock, bedside lamp, above- bed lamp. Access to screened-in sun room through sliding doors. The bed is made for you prior to your arrival.

Second bedroom (Room measurements: 11' x 7'9): The second bedroom has two windows overlooking the south side and the east side of the property, so the rising sun greets you every morning. It has a double-sized bed, bookcase, all sheets, blankets, pillows, pillow covers, pillowcases, one dresser, closet, hangers, ceiling fan, clock, lamp, above-bed lamp, laminate wood flooring with area rug by the side of the bed. The bed is made for you prior to your arrival.

Living room (Room measurements: 20' x 13'4): The living room also has a wall of windows overlooking the Northumberland Strait, making it feel bright and airy. It is the perfect place to enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see. There is a sofa, a sofa-bed that sleeps two people, coffee table, comfy wicker rocking chair and footstool, lamps, ceiling fan, bookcase (library), TV, VCR, DVD, stereo system with cassette player and CD player, phone for local calls, woodstove, laminate wood flooring with area rug.

Bathroom (Room measurements: 6'4  x 7'9): The bathroom has a large corner shower, toilet, sink/vanity, plenty of storage space, cleaning supplies, towels, face cloths and hand towels, vinyl flooring and area rug. 

Hall cupboard This is where all of the towels, blankets are kept. Bedding/linen/towels are changed once a week on a Saturday during your stay. There is also a shelf full of games for your use while you are staying at the cottage.

Large screened in sun-room  (Room measurements: 18' x 10'3): One of the most beautiful features of Stockbridge Cottage is its huge, fully screened-in west-facing sunroom. We think it is the cottage's "piéce de resistance". We know the you will enjoy getting up in the morning, pouring yourself a cup of coffee or tea and going to sit in the sunroom and listen to the symphony of birdsong that greets you at the start of every day. Keep count of the local wildlife you may see, right from your sunroom or your large adjoining open deck. We have seen deer, bald eagles, hawks, cranes, red fox, hummingbirds and other pretty birds and animals. Let us know what you have seen! It is also the perfect place to sit and watch the spectacular sunsets as the sun sinks below the horizon every evening. Photographers will be in their element here. The sun-room is completely enclosed. Enter the sun room from the outside, through sliding doors in master bedroom or sliding doors in living room. It has a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, BBQ, table, chairs, and side tables. The seven windows, the floor and the door are all screened  well. Perfect for enjoying the evening drawing in, or relaxing on rainy days. 

Front deck (Deck measurement: 21'6 x 10'3): The front deck is completely open. It is perfect for BBQ's on warm summer days. It is best used to watch the amazing sunsets over the Northumberland Strait. At night, you will be amazed at the spectacular blanket of stars that line the sky above you. Stockbridge Cottage is a stargazer’s paradise. 

Back deck The back deck is completely open, it's the perfect place to watch the sun rise in the mornings.

The main source of heat for Stockbridge cottage is electric baseboard heaters. All electricity costs are included in your rental fee. There is a woodstove for those chilly winter evenings.
